Local 204 of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Moving Picture Technicians, Artists and Allied Crafts of The United States, its Territories and Canada was chartered as a “mixed local” in 1911, in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Our organization is the only entertainment industry chartered IATSE Local in the State of Arkansas and we take great pride in serving our states production needs.
Our members are trained in the unique specialties required to support the Entertainment Industry in areas of Filmmaking, Theater, Concerts, and Festivals. We also provide manpower in support of Trade Shows and Corporate meetings. Our skilled craftsmen can handle your rigging, lighting, audio, video, wardrobe, spotlight, camera operation, truck loading, and other staging needs. Our local work areas include indoor arenas, theaters, outdoor stages (rain or shine), convention centers, and sports stadiums.
As an IATSE Local, we are the intermediary between the members and the businesses that employ them. Our primary purpose is to negotiate for safe, more favorable working conditions, and other benefit, through collective bargaining for our members. We provide higher productivity, lower employee turnover, improved workplace communications, and a better trained workforce.
Local 204 is successful because we set the standards for education, skill levels, wages, working conditions, and quality of life for our membership.
When it comes to deciding your production and staging needs, Local 204 is the “premier workforce” at your service.
